Mirka Abralon® discs are a silicone carbide abrasive bonded to an extremely flexible knitted fabric on soft foam with a loop (Velcro) backing. Excellent for dry or wet sanding of wood surfaces, plastics, acrylics, exotic woods. It performs extremely well on lacquer and urethane finishes. They will conform to any surface contour and give a light touch on small and rounded edges. Abralon discs typically outlast standard abrasives and can be cleaned with compressed air or by washing. Grits available from 180 to 4000. The 6” discs are ideal when hand sanding between coats of finishes, or when used on a 5” random orbit sander with one of our soft interface pads.
